Three Bears Lodge in Ashford Washington State

The “Three Bears Lodge” is located in Ashford, WA and it’s right close to the Mount Rainier National Park. This is the perfect accommodation for a group of friends or family. We have experienced the "Lazy Bears Cabin" cabin next to the stream. We had some heavy rain so we couldn't use our nice outside facilities like bath tube or fire pit close to the water.

It wasn't a big deal cause inside the cabin we found a warm atmosphere thanks to the stone fireplace and a lot of other amenities, including a nice game room and a cool dvd movie library.

The full kitchen is very well kept and organized. The owners left us all the instructions in order to use it properly. So you can cook your own meals or you might go to eat at "Rainier Valley Inn Restaurant" which is quite close. They prepare a pretty good breakfast that you'll need before your hiking day on the mountains trails.

Mt. Rainier National Park has magnificent scenic locations and trails. It's beautiful either in the snow, rain or shine. Hikers paradise with a lot of trails for all tastes.

In the same day we did two trails, one in the snow and the other one in the rain under the forest, Both were amazing experiences.

In the evening we returned at our wonderful cabin to relax and rest in super comfortable beds, ready to go the next day to experience another adventure in the woods.

The lodge has several other cabins in different styles located along the stream or right close.

For the families, in certain periods of the year you can also find out for a magical train ride. This area is the home of the "Polar Express Train Experience" and you'll have a lot of fun with your kids.

If you have a week-end or a full week vacation with your family or friends, the "Three Bears Lodge" is the place to go. Only recommendation is to book quite in advance cause it is very requested.

Gianfranco Pulina is Travelscore Magazine "Chef of the Year 2016" at Restaurant "Golden Gate"
